The Colony Hotel is excited to introduce a new experience for our guests! For the first time, enjoy the magic of the Maine coast in winter while staying at Coveside at the Colony Hotel. From October 20, 2025, to May 15, 2026, you’ll have the unique opportunity to explore the New England coast in a whole new way. Winter stays are both intimate and serene, while still offering the breathtaking seascapes we all know and love.

This winter, we will welcome guests to our newly built Coveside at the Colony Hotel, which offers our modern Coveside accommodations and Coveside Market. Our Main Inn, Pool, Marine Room, and Main Dining Room will reopen on May 16, 2026. Coveside Market will be our new home base for the winter, offering guest check-ins/outs, welcome receptions, fresh specialty coffees, and will be fully stocked with your favorite snacks and grab & go options! We will also offer historical tours upon request for those looking to explore the Main Hotel.
