The Colony Hotel is excited to introduce a new experience for our guests! Enjoy the magic of the Maine coast in winter while staying Coveside at the Colony Hotel. Available Thursday - Sunday, October 20, to May 15, 2026, you’ll have the unique opportunity to explore the New England coast in a whole new way.

This winter, we will welcome guests to our newly built Coveside at the Colony Hotel, which offers our modern Coveside accommodations and Coveside Market. Our Main Inn, Pool, Marine Room, and Main Dining Room will reopen on May 16, 2026. Coveside Market will be our new home base for the winter, offering guest check-ins/outs, welcome receptions, fresh specialty coffees, and will be fully stocked with your favorite snacks and grab & go options!

Thanksgiving To-Go!

From our kitchen to yours, you can take home a Thanksgiving dinner for just $99, with four servings (or add more)! Dinner includes: roasted turkey (white and dark meat), bread stuffing, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, gravy, cranberry sauce, and rolls. Meals can be picked up by Thursday, Nov. 27, at noon. You can also add the following pies for an additional charge:

Christmas Prelude Returns!

December 5 - December 15, 2025

There’s nothing quite like Christmas in Kennebunkport; from the twinkling lights of Dock Square, the sound of carolers by the sea, and Santa’s arrival by lobster boat. This December marks 44 years of Christmas Prelude, and the tradition continues with the same holiday coastal magic at The Colony Hotel (Coveside). Our own Coveside Market will be decked out in a Frosty's Fantasyland theme, with Photo ops, s'mores kits, and hot cocoa! With countless activities around town and our own activities detailed below, make this season's getaway one to remember!
